A Picture is Worth A Thousand Words

My Pictures

This picture that I took reminds me of a rainy day. One of those days when you are out traveling and the day is going by so fast. I think that this picture is doesn’t show a lot but can mean so much. I like this picture in black in white rather than color because when I originally took the picture there was not a lot of color in the photo. When I normally see these type of pictures their on cards. I took this picture when I was in Baltimore coming back to Washington D.C. I thought it was interesting and it shows loneliness.

This picture reminds me if I was in a art museum or in a housing store where you would buy paintings for your living room or some part of your house. I love the way the painting was painted and how the color scheme is put together. I would love to have paintings like this in my own home when I get older. For a picture to be so simple, the painting is mellow and adds a nice tone to the painting. I would recommend this painting to someone who loves art and likes good paintings. They would love this picture in the home.

This is one of the pictures that I scanned. When I used my scanner I tried to make sure that the picture was clear and that you could see the colors in the photo. I rather use my USB cord from my digital camera to put my pictures on the computer because they show better and have better quality. If someone prefers using a scanner that is a good idea but if you want good wuality and you want to see every aspect of the picture, I recommend you to use your digital camera and the USB cord.

I find this picture so amusing because imagine a 7 year old playing a guitar. It is hilarious to me. I really captured the moment of this picture. He was playing around with the guitar and singing around the house. I used this image program to add all the contrast, crop and other effects to this picture. I love adding effects and other special things to my photos. Especially if my pictures do not come out the best with the lighting or if I have to crop the photos to focus on a main subject. I like to focus on a specific object when I am taking picture but still capture the background and other objects in the photo.

I love this picture because of her facial expression. I had to use photoshop to crop out the rest of the picture because it did not blend well. I took this picture randomly and when I saw it, I thought this is a good picture. The funny thing is she wasn’t looking at anything in particular she just made the face and I snapped the camera. Five years from now I would look back on this picture and laugh because it holds a lot of memories from that day. When I take pictures I like to capture the moment as people like to say. I want people to look at my pictures and know that I enjoy taking them.

As you might have recognized, this is the symbol for Washington D.C. I took this picture because it symbolizes success and achievement from someone who is a hard worker. I think this picture shows little but also speaks out loud. If you know the history of Washington D.C and how the city has came along way then this picture says a lot. I used photo shop on this photo because I wanted to show the colors and have it dark and solid because of the color scheme in the picture. I really enjoyed taking this picture.

This picture reminds mf of Easter of course. It looks fun and reminds your of Easter egg hunts with your friends or brings you back to childhood when you and your family would get together on Easter, have a big dinner and have fun. I used Photo Shop on this picture because I wanted to add something different to this picture. I didn’t want the normal white Easter bunnies but some that had purple ears and purple eyes. The picture is kind of scary of you imagine a bunny with purple eyes but its different from your normal picture and that why I like it.

Here is another picture that I scanned which was not clear when I added effects to it fro Photo shop. I tried to put a twist to is and add some color contrast to this picture. It was hard because the picture was not clear and I didn’t want to add to many colors where the color scheme didn’t match. I think the colors in the pictures are pretty and bright but still isn’t clear enough to see the image itself. I would still recommend a digital camera rather than a scanner for pictures that are thick and will not scan clear

Konopacki Martin Architectural Photo

Here are two pictures that caught my eye by Konopacki Martin. The first picture is really bright and smooth. The scenery is great and his camera really focused on the objective.

Sander-Martijn

Here are some works by Sander-Martijn. I love these pictures because they show a free spirit. They are simple but have alot of meaning.

Larry Gatz

Larry Gatz's pictures show relaxation and fun. If I were in a museum and i saw one of his pictures I would either buy one or talk to him about his inspiration. His pictures are not to busy but you can definately look at his work and see his took time to take the pictures. Here are a few of my favorite pictures by Gatz.

Eddy Jean

Eddy Jean is a photogrpaher that currently works in New York. When I look at his pictures, it reminds me of a more vintage look. I love his black and white photos because he made the pictures say more without any color to them. I think thats what makes a good photographer, is when they don't need special affects to thier pictures. They just have them natural to show its pure meaning.
